Billing & refunds
Threadwell’s core organization features are Free. Pro adds more ways to organize, customize, and back up your collection.
Plans and automatic renewal
Pro includes automatic refresh, colors, manual backups, tags and saved filters, Favorites, bulk actions, scheduled local backups and restore history, optional Chrome Sync, and folder templates.

The yearly plan is billed annually, not in monthly installments. Applicable tax is calculated at checkout. Review the total and recurring terms before completing payment. These are the currently configured USD prices. The current offer has no trial period or setup fee.
Threadwell is an independent extension. A Threadwell subscription does not include a ChatGPT subscription and does not change your OpenAI plan.
Payments and support
Payments are handled through Stripe Managed Payments. Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe affiliate, is the merchant of record; Threadwell provides the extension. Payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout, not in the extension. The applicable Link customer terms and Link privacy information apply to Link’s services.

Managing or canceling a subscription
- Open Threadwell Settings and backup → Open Threadwell account.
- Sign in to the Threadwell account used for the purchase.
- Choose Manage subscription to open Stripe’s customer portal.
- Use the portal to update payment details, view invoices, or cancel future renewals.
- Return to Threadwell and choose Refresh subscription to update the displayed status.
Cancellation through the current portal takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Pro access continues until that period ends, subject to payment and account verification. Cancel before the next renewal to stop the next recurring charge. Cancellation alone does not issue a refund. Monthly/yearly plan switching is not currently offered in the portal.
Signing out, uninstalling Threadwell, or deleting a Threadwell account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel first or arrange cancellation through Sold through Link support before requesting account deletion. Keep the cancellation confirmation.
Refund requests
Refund requests can be submitted to Sold through Link support and are subject to the Sold through Link refund policy and applicable consumer rights. Link can consider qualifying requests within 60 days of purchase; this is not an unconditional 60-day money-back guarantee.
Threadwell follows Stripe/Link’s refund policy and applicable consumer protections. It does not offer a separate voluntary money-back guarantee. Nothing in this policy limits your applicable statutory rights.
Pro access and your saved collection
After checkout, return to the Threadwell account page and choose Refresh subscription. Returning to the website alone does not verify payment. Pro access depends on an active paid subscription and periodic account verification; it is not guaranteed offline. Failed verification, expired paid coverage, a full refund of the current paid period, or an unresolved/lost payment dispute can block Pro features. If access looks wrong, refresh the subscription or email contact@threadwell.app.
Losing Pro does not erase your local folders, shortcuts, or saved Pro metadata. Free core organization remains available. Editing Pro metadata and using Pro tools requires verified Pro; disabled automatic refresh, backup, and sync schedules must be enabled again after Pro is restored.
Account sign-in does not upload your organizer to Threadwell’s account service. Optional Chrome Sync is separate. See Threadwell’s privacy information for storage and deletion details.
